Bonus project    Posted: Oct 30, 2009
Students participating in the project please see me after class with a copy of your excel sheet to confirm the approach you are taking. Failure to do so will result in being dropped from the project and awarded negative 15 points.

Message for bonus product students    Posted: Oct 27, 2009
Please feel free to track as many of the five stocks as you wish. While the project requires data from just one of the stock choices, you may find it more of a learning experience if you track more or even all five. That will give you a better sense of why your choice was good or bad when you complete the project and compare the charts and data for all of the stocks you tracked. If you have a favorite stock that was not on the list, you may want to track that one along with or in place of the others. Whenever you have a question about the stock or the project let's discuss. This may be the best opportunity you have to make some mistakes investing and not having to pay the consequences!

MyBizLab    Posted: Sep 10, 2009
MyBizLab is a powerful tool to help you navigate this course successfully. It has been included free with the textbooks from the bookstore this semester. while it is not a required material for this course, it can be very helpful if you have it. I have noted that very few students have registered to use the resource, and am offering to help any student who has MyBizLab learn how to access and use it. If you would like this assistance please see me.
